Congratulations to Bridget Franek who has won the Division One NCAA Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon in early June 2010.  Bridget completed her amazing collegiate career at Penn State University by dominating her event by a large margin of victory.  Bridget was a member of the Maple Leaf Track Club as a high school athlete and she was the first Ohio athlete to win four distance events at the Ohio Stae Championship Meet.  She has represented MLTC at several high school championship meets and also competed in the Foot Locker Cross Country Finals as a senior.  Bridget has now entered the ranks of a professional runner and has recently signed with Nike.  She will be running for the Elite Oregon Track Club in Eugene, Oregon.  Bridget is aiming to become a 2012 USA Olympian in the women's 3000 meer steeplechase.  We wish her all the best!
